Call for Technical Papers

The WEC Montréal 2010 Call for technical papers is now over.  Thanks to everyone who submitted a communication.  You will find below the next steps of the process

Evaluation

All papers will be reviewed by a Selection Committee. Papers will be evaluated based on pertinence to the topic and Congress theme, quality of work and originality. Official notice of acceptance or refusal will be emailed in April 2010. All decisions by the Selection Committee are final.

Confirmation and Publication

Receipt of papers will be confirmed upon submission by email. All papers accepted will be published by the Congress on a USB flash drive to be distributed to registered participants on site. Authors must agree to publication before submitting. Accepted papers will be presented onsite in oral or poster format as part of the WEC Montreal 2010 technical program, only published on the USB Flash Drive.

Presentation

Oral presentations will be made within technical sessions, based on theme and subtheme. Poster presentations will be part of poster sessions, taking place in a designated area at the Congress site. Official instructions for preparation of oral and poster presentations, including date, time, session and order, will be confirmed in May 2010, after notification of acceptance.

Registration

All accepted authors are required to register and pay the Congress registration fee in order to be published and to present on site. Registration and payment by presenters of accepted papers must be completed no later than June 1, 2010.
