Media representatives wishing to obtain accreditation must submit a request by email to Chantal Dufresne at the above address. They will then receive a password to be used to access and fill out the online registration form (available in French and English only). Once the form has been submitted, a confirmation of your registration will be sent. Please note that this confirmation will be required at the Congress registration desk in Montreal together with press ID and passport. All media representatives must go to the Palais des congrès registration desk upon arrival, where they will be photographed and issued a Congress accreditation badge.
Media representatives may obtain their passwords as of March 15, 2010.

Accreditation is free-of-charge for authorized media.
Any journalist or press correspondent who accompanies a head of state, a government minister or a delegation leader is also required to fill out the registration form.
For security reasons, all media representatives must wear their WEC Montréal 2010 badges at all times during the Congress.
Access to the Palais des congrès de Montréal
The WEC Montréal 2010 press accreditation badge with photo will be required for access to the Convention Centre. This badge is personal and non transferable.
Security procedures at the entry
In order to avoid delays at security check, media representatives are advised to arrive well in advance.
Access to plenary sessions
Media representatives equipped with a badge will have access to all plenary sessions, speeches, round tables, discussion sessions on challenges and special presentations.
Electronic media
Television crews and photographers must make necessary arrangements in advance to be assigned locations in plenary sessions and conference rooms.
Press conferences
During the four days WEC Montréal 2010 is in session, press conferences will be announced on a daily basis.
