The WEC Montreal 2010 Companion’s Program:
An original way to discover Montréal

WEC Montreal 2010 has designed a very special program for travelling companions of delegates who register for the Congress. We have taken care to select activities that will give our visitors a diversified program and make their stay in Montreal both exciting and memorable.

Among the activities on the agenda are a tour of the city (ideal choice for a first visit to Montreal, since it provides an overview of the fascinating history of the different districts in our cosmopolitan city); a walking tour of Old Montreal (one of the largest assemblages of 17th, 18th, and 19th century heritage buildings in America); a Museum day in unique institutions such as the Canadian Centre for Architecture and the Pointe-à-Callière Museum (a great way for visitors to discover Montreal’s historic architecture); and a visit to the Biodome and the Botanical Garden. Each delegate is eligible to register up to two persons in the Companion’s Program. In addition, two optional one-day visits will be available at the end of the Congress so delegates and their travelling companions can explore Quebec City and Ottawa.

Full details of the Companion’s Program will be available on our website on November 16.
