Call for Technical papers issued

CONTRIBUTE TO THE DISCUSSIONS AT WEC - MONTRÉAL 2010

The organizers of the 21st World Energy Congress, which will be held in Montreal from September 12 to 16, 2010, have officially issued a call for technical papers.

The intent of the Call for papers is two-fold: to provide a coherent forum in which to present research results and synthesis, and to encourage in-depth discussions on topics identified as crucial under the Congress theme: Responding now to Global Challenges - Energy in transition for a Living Planet. 

Authors are invited to submit papers on one of 22 challenges that fall under the four headings described below. Papers must be received before January 15, 2010.

Theme for Day 1:  Managing the growing energy demand 

Theme for Day 2:  What is the right energy mix for long term stability? 

Theme for Day 3:  Energy solutions for a living planet 

Theme for Day 4:  Policies, regulations and financing
